Our Story
How It All Began
I was introduced to the Entlebucher Mountain Dog through the internet while searching for the perfect family dog. I was looking for a dog that would be lovable, friendly, active, playful, a guardian, and have working ability.
When I was able to find and bring home my first Entle, Rowdy, in 2022, my family fell in love with him. With training he became a dog I loved to have around my four kids in the backyard — he would somewhat herd them and get between them in conflicts. He sure loves to be with me and be my porch dog when he gets that energy out, too.

A Second Entle Joins the Family
A second dog was always in my vision, with the possibility of breeding. My family couldn't see any other breed that would fit our home, so the search was on for another Entlebucher.
I became a member of NEMDA in early 2024. The NEMDA opened my eyes to all the education and resources available for this special breed. I found my second Entlebucher Mountain Dog, Dora, in March of 2024. She was shy at first, but quickly warmed up to us. She makes laps every morning in our backyard — I call her my chicken herder because she rounds my chickens back into their coops. My kids love to throw a ball for her to fetch.
Our Mission
Bringing Awareness to the Breed
I would like to bring more awareness to the Entlebucher Mountain Dog in my area and beyond. By being an Entlebucher breeder, I want others to see what great assets this breed can bring to a home.
As for me, I am completing all OFA health testing before beginning the breeding process. I am a part of NEMDA Breeder Code of Ethics (BCOE). I have the space and accommodations needed for a mother and her puppies. I encourage every prospective owner to educate themselves on the Entlebucher — it gives them the best chance of success in raising this wonderful breed.
